Since 1996, Kenan Öztürk, the founder of Karagöz Sanatevi, has taken Turkish music abroad and world music to Turkish stages.
He brought ensembles from abroad to the İş Sanat and Yapı Kredi Festivals in Turkey.
He has ensured that Turkish traditional music ensembles take part in music festivals, cultural centers, theaters and performance halls around the world. He organized concerts abroad with a significant number of artists.
